Wish List-

Donating furniture or household goods to HomeStore. Beds and sofas are the most frequently requested items. (for free pickup of donated items you need to live in East London - please go to our official website to see which postcode areas we cover.)

By offering free/discounted services or advice. Examples: Street Cred, our micro-credit project, has benefited enormously from support from Lovells with space for workshops and conferences. A young designer helped us produce leaflets for our projects on a shoe-string budget - and designed our website for free!

Volunteering - we are currently reviewing our volunteer opportunities. We have benefited from an employee secondment with the civil service and are very interested in exploring this kind of option with other employers.

Donations -

£32  is the cost of picking up a sofa, saving it from being dumped in the street or put into landfill, storing it in our warehouse, and then delivering it
£32  is the cost of one DIY training day, including a hot lunch, for homeless people on Odd Jobs.
£344  covers the cost of opening HomeStore for a day; this includes everything from postage and electricity bills to volunteer expenses and staff training.
